WAYGOM motorcycle mousse
Waygom motorcycle mousse or mousse tyres sit inside motocross, enduro or extreme enduro tyres. They are made up of air and mousse, ensuring a seal between the tyre and the rim by maintaining continuous tension on the tyre walls.
What are the different Waygom mousse ranges?
Waygom mousses for motocross and enduro were developed for those who do not wish to ride with inner tubes. Mousses or motorcycle mousse avoid the punctures or pinch flats that can occur with inner tubes. Waygom mousses have been studied and developed to meet the expectations of every motocross, enduro and extreme enduro rider. The dimensions differ between the ranges, as does the feel on the track, with various hardnesses for maximum feel in relation to the grip and traction of the bikes. We have developed three mousse ranges:
-Motocross mousses:
Motocross mousses avoid the drawbacks of punctures while you ride. From 85cc to 450cc, enjoy Waygom motocross mousses.
The air pressure equivalent is 1.1kg to 1.2kg

-Enduro mousses:
Enduro mousses have been developed for occasional or regular riding, in training or in competition. Available for 18-inch and 21-inch rims, enduro mousses will give you excellent grip with very little rebound compared with other mousses on the market.
The air pressure equivalent is 0.8kg for rear mousses and 0.9kg for front mousses. This compromise has been recommended and approved by our development riders for maximum comfort when riding enduro.

-Extreme Enduro mousses:
Extreme Enduro motorcycle mousses have been developed for your training and competition on rocky terrain; the mousses are available for 18-inch and 21-inch rims.
The air pressure equivalent is 0.5kg for rear mousses and 0.6kg for front mousses. These mousses have been extensively developed by our development riders, specialists in extreme enduro, and these pressures are perfect for extreme use.

The technical properties of the mousses significantly improve the traction of the bikes, with very limited rebound as well as excellent mousse calibration. In addition, the mousses have a long service life and unrivalled wear resistance.
What is the difference between an inner tube and a mousse?
Waygom inner tubes, made from butyl, are filled with air, unlike mousses which are a mixture of air and mousse. The main advantage of mousse tyres is avoiding punctures when riding motocross or enduro.
How do you fit a motorcycle mousse?
Here is how to replace a motorcycle mousse in 10 steps:
-1: Loosen the rim lock (gripster)
-2: Break both tyre beads away from the rim
-3: Using tyre levers, remove the first tyre bead
-4: Remove the mousse from inside the tyre
-5: Remove the second tyre bead using a tyre lever and a mallet, striking the remaining bead
-6: Apply mounting gel around the new mousse
-7: Insert the mousse into the tyre
-8: Refit the first tyre bead
-9: Refit the second tyre bead
-10: Retighten the rim lock (gripster)
