Firm grip on stones, sharp directional stability on trails

The tread pattern of the Waygom Enduro Race enduro tyre delivers excellent grip on stony and rocky terrain, while ensuring perfect directional stability on fast trails and in meadows. Wear remains moderate: this is a tyre you keep, not a race tyre you throw away after a single day.

The directional rotation ensures maximum performance in the conditions intended by the manufacturer — remember to follow the arrow marked on the sidewall when fitting.

The Medium compound: the balance between grip and longevity

The Medium compound of the Enduro Race range looks for the compromise, and finds it: soft enough to grip on wet rock and roots, tough enough to withstand road transfers and repeated training days. It is the logical choice if you ride all year round on varied terrain rather than a single type of ground.

Dual ECE and F.I.M. approval

The Enduro Race range is ECE approved, for legal use on open roads, and F.I.M. approved, for official competition. You can ride to your special stage on the road and take the start with the same set of tyres. The 140/80-18 rear carries a load index of 70 and a speed index of M, which meet the requirements of the vast majority of enduro and trail bikes.

Which size should you choose?

• 90/90-21 — front tyre: the front size of virtually all modern enduro and trail bikes.
• 140/80-18 — rear tyre: the most widespread rear size in road-approved enduro.

If in doubt, the original size of your bike is marked on the sidewall of the tyre you are removing, as well as in the manufacturer’s manual. It is common to fit the front and rear at the same time to maintain consistent handling.

Which size for my bike?

Do you need an inner tube?
Yes, the Enduro Race is fitted with an inner tube. A 3 mm reinforced or 4 mm extra-reinforced tube is strongly recommended for off-road use.
